Memorials in Auckland for victims of terrorist attack

* St Michael's Anglican Church at 425 Great North Rd in Henderson will hold a candlelight service for the terrorists' victims at 7 pm tonight.

* St George's Anglican Church at 5 Landscape Rd in Papatoetoe is holding a memorial service at 3 pm tomorrow . The church will be open from 2 pm until 5 pm for people to pray, reflect and light a candle.

* Two appeals have been set up to help the families of firefighters who lost their lives in New York and Washington. Donations to both funds - the New York Firefighters Disaster Relief Fund and the NZ Firefighters Fund for American Firefighters - can be made at any branch of the Bank of New Zealand.
