A team of New Zealand secondary school science students have bagged two silver and two bronze medals at the International Biology Olympiad in Korea.
Susan Sun of Christchurch and Geoffrey Hoggins, Yuanye Xu and Jack Zhou from Auckland returned yesterday from the competition which pitted the top four young biologists from 59 countries against each other in an intense round of practical assessments and theory examinations. Hoggins and Xu won silver medals and Sun and Zhou bronze.
