Your dream car?
A Lamborghini Veneno roadster. I worked as a Lamborghini girl one weekend at the Big Boys Toys event in Auckland and think I must have been subliminally brainwashed, watching the promo video over 100 times. It is most definitely the best car in the world, without a doubt.
Do you have a favourite car colour?
Black. I think it's stylish and it doesn't date.
Who taught you to drive?
My dad, I was 15 and he taught me to drive in the local supermarket car park. He was sort of a good teacher. He could have done with a little more patience.
Manual or automatic?
I prefer driving automatic in the city, because the traffic is so bad. But I like manual for road trips as it gives you better handling of the vehicle around corners.
Most memorable New Zealand road trip?
That would be driving from Te Anau to Milford Sound. Stunning!
And overseas?
The road trip with my two besties from New Zealand up the coast of Corfu to Paleokastritsa, (Princess Diana's favourite place on the island). We got so lost along the way and ended up in some obscure places, eventually arriving in paradise. We had a lot of laughs and good times along the way.
Do you enjoy driving or would you rather be a passenger?
Driving. I don't mind being a passenger, especially when heading out of town, but I enjoy driving and I think I'm a good driver.
How often do you clean your car?
I try to every two weeks.
What is the best way for getting dog hair out of car upholstery?
Use a dog proof cover for upholstery, plus the strong vacuum at petrol stations. The car valet places don't like me and charge extra.
What do you listen to in your car?
I'm a talkback junkie with a little George FM thrown in for good balance.
What's a great day trip out of Auckland?
I love going to the Matakana Farmers' Market, then heading off to Mathesons Bay for a picnic afterwards.
Do you judge people by what they drive?
No, my partner is involved with cars and turns up in a different car every other day. So I guess I've learned not to.
What irritates you most about other drivers?
That they are driving like an idiot while being preoccupied by their phone.
Would you rather drive in Auckland or take public transport?
I see Auckland's public transport as a bit of a joke, compared to other parts of the world. It's just not that efficient here - what we need is an underground system.
Who else drives your car?
My staff.
Do you have a special number plate?
Yes, a friend bought me ANIMLZ.
Is there room for cyclists and drivers on New Zealand roads?
No, definitely not. I'm not anti-cyclist - I just don't think our roads are safe enough and there should be separate cycle lanes.
