Maxsamba is another example of New Zealand boatbuilding craftsmanship destined to delight an overseas owner.
She was built by Kelly Archer Boatbuilders in Albany and launched in December 2000.
Designed by famed Dutch naval architect E.G. Van de Stadt, she features a bright and airy interior layout by Andrew Winch.
She carries a 7/8 fractional rig, like other yachts in the Van de Stadt 77 series.
With her English owner and a crew of four aboard, Maxsamba is scheduled to leave Auckland in early April for the Mediterranean via Sydney.
