Masterton's Mawley Holiday Park was a finalist in the AA Traveller Spirit of Hospitality Awards, held on Wednesday night in Blenheim.
The park was rubbing shoulders with hospitality sites in Coromandel, Wanaka, Waihi Beach and Rotorua for the top spot, awarded this year to Mercury Bay Holiday Park in Whitianga.
AA Tourism Publishing Limited General Manager Moira Penman congratulated Mawley Holiday Park "for providing such a high level of hospitality to their guests".
The judging panel was made up of representatives from the AA and AA Traveller, Qualmark, HAPNZ and Inside Tourism.
