A Masterton man has been jailed for 16 months for supplying and offering to supply methamphetamine.
Darron James pleaded guilty to the drug charges and to possession of a Taser and careless driving.
James had been driving when he crossed the centreline and crashed into two parked cars on the other side of the road.
Police had searched him and found a written "tick list", scales, some small plastic bags and cash.
A later search revealed a Taser and further cash, and police uncovered text messages indicating a number of methamphetamine sales, totalling 1.5g, and offers to sell of a further 0.8g.
