Children will be invited to create a durable and rain-activated piece of artwork during a school holiday programme with Connecting Communities and Henley Men's Shed.
The Men's Shed will show children how to pour a concrete paver, then cut out a stencil for their chosen image. A hydrophobic coating is sprayed on to the stencil, which will resist water. When it rains, the sprayed image will remain dry.
The programme, from July 13 to July 17, includes sports-based activities and swimming at Masterton Intermediate School and Lakeview School.
