A Masterton farmer died of a suspected heart attack while working his rural property on Saturday.
Firefighters, police and paramedics attended the scene on Lees Pakaraka Rd just after 6.30pm on Saturday after the 68-year-old was found by a family member next to his quad bike.
It is understood the man had been spraying thistles on the property. His death, initially believed to be from a quad bike accident, was likely to have been caused through a medical event, Masterton police Sergeant Simon Irving said.
