A pair of "brilliant" speakers will highlight prostate health awareness at a free public meeting in Masterton tomorrow.
Jeanine Gribbin, Cancer Society Wairarapa centre manager, said the meeting would be held at Copthorne Resort & Hotel Solway Park from 5.30pm tomorrow, as part of Men's Health Week - Te Wiki Hauora Tane - which runs until Sunday.
Guest speakers will be Movember prostate cancer ambassador Tim Reddish and Prostate Awareness Life Savers Wellington facilitator Paul Kane, of the School of Radiology.
Mrs Gribbin said Mr Kane had been asked to speak tomorrow after he addressed a group in Martinborough, where he left a deep impression on his audience.
"I was approached by several people who said 'you have to bring Paul back to speak in Masterton'," Mrs Gribbin said. "Paul Kane is brilliant - every bloke should hear him speak".
