Police are looking for two people who went for a joyride on a stolen child-sized quad bike in the early hours of yesterday morning.
Masterton Senior Sergeant Mike Sutton said the Kawasaki quad bike was taken from a shed at a Te Ore Ore Rd property at about 4am. Two people had been seen leaving the property on the quad bike, and were later spotted in the Archer/Bannister St area.
Police found the quad bike in the cemetery, but were unable to locate the riders.
A chainsaw also stolen from the shed had not yet been found.
Mr Sutton said police were still checking the quad bike for fingerprints.
