A man has been taken to hospital with cuts to his neck and face after being assaulted yesterday morning.
Police said the attack happened at a house in Masterton about 3am on Thursday.
A small group of people had been drinking and a fight developed between two members of the group.
Police attending the scene found one man with cuts to his face and neck.
He was taken to Masterton Hospital by ambulance and was being treated for minor injuries.
