Robbers armed with a shotgun have held up an Armourguard van in Huntly.
The four men struck as the Armourguard staff were transferring money from their van to the ANZ Bank.
Huntly Sub-area Manager, Senior Sergeant Pete Simpson, said three men entered
the premises of the Huntly ANZ bank about 12.12pm today.
"One of these men was armed with a firearm which was presented towards
security guards engaged in the reloading of an ATM machine inside the bank.
"The offenders have made off with a yet to be determined sum of cash, towards a blue Mitsubishi Legnum car that drove off along Main St in a northerly direction."
Police say the robbers were all wearing balaclavas and took off in a vehicle, which has since been found abandoned in Huntly.
