Martinborough has moved to a clear-cut lead in Bowls Wairarapa's McKenzie Motors men's sevens interclub competition.
At the completion of rounds three and four they had accumulated 74 points, seven more than second-placed Featherston on 64. Then came defending champions Masterton 53, Park 45, Greytown 44, Carrington 38, Eketahuna 29 and Lansdowne 14.
The second-tier Hannon-Knowles men's competition is led by Greytown with 66 points followed by Park 61, Masterton A 55, Carrington 50, Masterton B 37, Masterton C 36, Featherston 30 and Lansdowne 31.
Third and fourth-round matches in the McKenzie Motors women's interclub series were deferred because of a clash with representatives games.
