The Thursday Club
It seems that fine windless Thursdays are going on forever and on the 2nd we had a record number of players.
By and large members are still adjusting to the winter conditions and the fact that the ball no longer travels the distance it used to seems to have affected the stableford scoring.
The average score ths week was 32 points and only one player reached 40 points and that was Terry Blacktop. Wayne Phelps finished second on 39, followed by Rod McDonald, Nigel Malneek and Lance Phelps on 38
.Ash Reed and Shaun Draper followed closely with 37 points.
The Plants R Us (Greytown) vegetable pack for nearest the pin went to Ed Elworthy ,who also scored a two along with Graham MacFarlane,Stuart Taplin,Bruce Johns and Lance Phelps.
