After nearly a day and a half of deliberating, the jury in the Mark Lundy trial has retired for the day.
The seven men and five women will resume their discussions tomorrow morning.
Lundy is charged with the murder of his wife Christine and 7-year-old daughter Amber in the early hours of August 30, 2000, in their Palmerston North home and his trial has run for more than seven weeks.
The only break in today's deliberation came when the jury asked to review two pieces of video footage.
Justice Simon France ordered that media were not to publish specific details of what the jury wanted to see.
