Marion Isabella McKirdy Hilbers, 49, worked as the receptionist at medical practice The Clinic in the CTV building.
The mother of two died when the building collapsed in the earthquake.
Friend Janette Clarke said Marion would do anything for anyone.
"She was very dedicated to her boys, family and friends. She was really a selfless person."
