Marine brokers get better

Marine brokers are lifting their game, which will mean buyers dealing with more professional people in future.

More than 20 brokers are working on the new Qualifications Authority-approved national certificate in boat sales and brokerage.

The course has been devised and implemented by the Boating Industry Training Organisation in consultation with several top brokerage houses.

The first certificates will be issued soon, so anyone buying should ask their broker if he has, or is getting, the appropriate piece of paper.
