Marina case to go to court

A decision by Conservation Minister Chris Carter to veto plans for a $10 million marina at Whangamata will be reviewed by the High Court.

The Whangamata Marina Society maintains that Mr Carter disregarded the statutory process and gave undue weight to Maori and environmental considerations.
