An appeal date has been set for the man convicted of raping and murdering Christchurch school girl Marie Davis.
Dean Cameron was found guilty in June and was sentenced to preventive detention with a minimum non-parole period of 19 years in August.
The 39-year-old has appealed both his conviction and sentence.
His appeal hearing will take place in Wellington on May 25.
