KEY POINTS:
If you see voluntarily running across the Auckland Harbour bridge as an exercise in sado-masochism, there are plenty of other things happening in Auckland this weekend to keep you occupied.
The Masonic Tavern in Devonport hosts the Masonic Blues Festival this weekend, with an array of local and international blues artists playing throughout the weekend.
Britomart will be bustling with the annual Diwali Festival - the traditional Indian festival of lights - this Saturday and Sunday, complete with fireworks display on Sunday night.
