KEY POINTS:
A man's body has been found on railway tracks in Ranui, West Auckland, this morning.
Police were called to the scene at about 5.30am.
Auckland Regional Transport Authority spokeswoman Sharon Hunter said train users on the western line had earlier faced delays.
She said commuters from Henderson were delayed by about 10 minutes and trains from Waitakere had been cancelled while emergency services were at the scene.
However, services were back up and running as normal by 10am.
