Man's body found in bus-way

Police are investigating after the body of a man was found in Auckland's northern bus-way.

Inspector Lou Alofa said the 39-year-old had been identified and police were advising next of kin of his death.

The man was found 100 metres north of the Constellation Drive terminal, on the North Shore, with serious head injuries.

Ambulance services called to the scene confirmed he had died.

Preliminary police investigations indicated the death was not suspicious, Mr Alofa said.
