Man's body found at Symonds St Cemetery

A passerby has discovered the body of a man at a central Auckland cemetery.

The person's found the body at Symonds St Cemetery and reported it to police about 8.50pm.

A police spokeswoman said there was "nothing to indicate that it's suspicious", but police needed to establish how the man died.

Police were at the scene making inquiries.
