A Manawatu man has suffered multiple injuries after being trapped by the bulldozer he was loading onto a truck.
Police were called at about 9.30am to Pongaroa, a rural area east of Palmerston North.
The man has head, chest and leg injuries, but it is not known how serious they are, say ambulance communications.
Police say the man was bleeding from the arm.
A rescue helicopter was unable to reach the scene and had to land 30 minutes away.
