A Manawatu farmer was badly hurt when he was trampled on by a bull this morning.
The 35-year-old man was flown to Palmerston North Hospital after the bull charged and stomped on him at a farm in Rangiwahia, near Feilding, about 9.45am, The Manawatu Standard reported.
Palmerston North rescue helicopter base manager Fergus MacLachlan said the man appeared to be in a lot of pain during the flight.
Another farm worker was understood to have raised the alarm after finding the injured man.
