The renewed licence requires no amplified music outside after 10pm and inside after midnight.
Previously, the hotel had a licence until 1am.
The operators are also developing a noise management plan, which must be lodged with the Horowhenua District Licensing Committee secretary.
In early December, the hotel hosted high-profile musician Che Fu.
The hotel was issued with a formal excessive noise direction following seven complaints from local residents about the volume of the music.
At the same time, the hotel's on-licence was up for renewal and as a result of the complaints the renewal hearing was held at a public hearing last month.
The Horowhenua District Licensing Committee renewal decision said the committee noted the concerns of witnesses who spoke about the noise disturbance and the ongoing effect on their quality of life.
