The Mana Party released its foreign policy outside the SAS headquarters in Papakura today.
The party's third-ranked candidate and foreign affairs spokesman, John Minto, told reporters the party wanted all New Zealand troops recalled from Afghanistan before Christmas - including the Provincial Reconstruction Team in Bamiyan province and the SAS, who are mentoring an Afghan ready-response unit in Kabul.
The party also wants South Pacific countries given the same access rights to New Zealand as Australia has, effectively free access to live and work.
Mr Minto, with half a dozen supporters, was asked to move off Defence property, where he was holding a press conference. He continued it just away from the boundary.
The Mana Party also wants to see an end to New Zealand's involvement in the Trans Pacific Partnership free trade and investment agreement being negotiated at present with eight other countries.
