A man who owes thousands of dollars for organising a wedding he never planned to go through with appeared in court today.
Richard Rae Dixon, 37, entered guilty pleas to 16 charges in Auckland District Court this morning.
Dixon was remanded in custody, and is scheduled to appear in court for sentencing on December 22.
Last month, Dixon was sentenced to 27 months in jail in Gisborne District Court after pleading guilty to six similar charges, including causing a loss by deception.
The man racked up more than $10,000 in bills for hired furniture, equipment and a DJ while organising his wedding and a funeral for his dying mother.
