Man who died in Te Puke crash named

A man killed after a car crashed into a tree off Te Puke's main street was Joseph Clarke (also known as Joseph Little), 18, of Te Puke.

Police say speed was a factor in the accident, which left another man critically ill. They have appealed for information on another car, a white Honda Civic hatchback, which left the scene immediately after the crash.
