The Wanaka family of the man killed in a quad bike crash near Waimate at the weekend say he was a widely respected man who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Ryan Stuart, 31, grew up in South Otago and Dunedin, but most recently lived in Perth and was home on holiday, his family said via funeral director Andrew Maffey.
A funeral for tuart will be held in Wanaka on Friday.
Stuart died after quade bike crash on private property at Elephant Hill about 10am on Saturday.
He was flown to Dunedin Hospital where he died later that day, police said.
