Man wanted after spate of Auckland burglaries

Police are appealing to the public to help them find a man wanted in connection with a spate of burglaries around Auckland.

Fabian Christopher Cook, 31, failed to appear in the Waitakere District Court and has a warrant out for his arrest.

Police said Cook was also "wanted for questioning" in relation to a number of burglaries in the Western and Central Auckland area.

Cook has links to Waitakere and the greater Auckland area.

He is described as a Maori male, 190cms in height and of slim build.

He also has a number of distinguishable tattoos, including "Westsider" on his left forearm and "Frisky" on his right forearm.
