A man has been told not to go within 100 metres of any Work and Income office in New Zealand after allegedly making threats against a staff member yesterday.
Hunter Mangu Warren Montgomery, 47, was arrested after an alleged incident at the New Brighton Work and Income office in Beresford Street, Christchurch, yesterday.

He was later allegedly found in possession of a knife.
Montgomery, an invalid beneficiary of South New Brighton, appeared from custody at Christchurch District Court this morning charged with threatening behaviour and possession of an offensive weapon, namely a knife, in Aranui.
