Dean Richard Mulligan will stand trial in May for the murder of Whanganui sickness beneficiary Marice McGregor.
Justice Simon France set a date of May 23 when the 42 year-old Feilding sickness beneficiary re-appeared in the High Court at Whanganui today, charged with the murder of Ms McGregor.
Ms McGregor went missing on April 19 and after an extensive search her decomposing body was found on May 12 in a deep ravine off the Whanganui-Raetihi road.
The trial is set down for four weeks.
Mulligan has meantime been remanded in custody to re-appear in the High Court in October.
