A man charged with arson over a small fire at Prime Minister John Key's electorate office has been committed for trial in the High Court at Auckland.
Daniel Vale, 31, was arrested after an object was thrown at Mr Key's office in his Helensville electorate early on September 10, causing a fire.
Vale is also charged with intentionally damaging the Helensville Rugby Club's room by fire on August 21.
His case has been set down for a callover in the High Court on December 16.
