A man has been tasered following a neighbourly dispute in West Auckland tonight.
Police say the incident happened around 9.40 pm in Mili Way, Ranui and escalated rapidly with a variety of weapons - including bats, a machete and a rifle - being used.
The person with the rifle was tasered by police after he did not put the gun down after being called upon to do so.
At least one person was taken away by ambulance with a serious injury to their arm but it is currently unclear if it was the person who was tasered.
The CIB are now investigating.
