A man was taken to hospital with burns after a West Coast house fire early this morning.
A Fire Service spokesman said the house was burning fiercely when emergency services arrived at the property on Anderson St, Reefton, about 5am.
There was only one person inside who suffered burns.
He was taken to Grey Base Hospital in nearby Greymouth.
A fire safety officer is investigating.
