KEY POINTS:
The search is continuing for a man who went overboard from a boat in the Bottle Top Bay area, near Papakura last night.
Rescuers resumed their search this morning, in Bottle Top Bay, 7km west of Papakura in Auckland.
There was a possibility the man may have made it to shore.
He is Polynesian, in his 30s, and was last seen wearing a blue raincoat and black sleeveless top.
