A man critically injured in a hit and run is this morning in a stable condition.
Emergency services were called at 11.12pm yesterday to help the 21-year-old after he was struck by a vehicle on McKenzie Rd in Mangere Bridge, South Auckland.
He was taken to Middlemore Hospital.
A Counties Manukau District Health Board spokeswoman said this morning he was in a stable condition.
Police had no new information on the incident this morning.
