A man was stabbed several times during a brawl outside a Dunedin hotel late last night.
The 37-year-old checked himself into Dunedin Hospital after the incident outside Chicks Hotel in Port Chalmers around midnight, Senior Sergeant Tania Baron said.
"I understand an argument has taken place within the hotel which has then moved out onto the street where a physical fight occurred."
His wounds were not thought to be life-threatening.
Police had not yet interviewed the victim.
