A gang member shot in the face during a northern Hawke's Bay street fight last week has been discharged from hospital.
The 20-year-old was taken to Hawke's Bay Hospital after the shooting in a Wairoa street about 10pm on Thursday.
His injuries were not life-threatening and he was discharged over the weekend, Detective Senior Sergeant Craig Scott of Gisborne police said.
A second man was arrested on Saturday in relation to the shooting.
The 26-year-old gang member would appear in Gisborne District Court today charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm with the use of a firearm.
Police planned to oppose bail.
On Friday, police arrested a gang member in his 40s, who was charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
Six arrests not directly related to the shooting were also made on Friday.
