Man seriously injured after hit by truck

A man has suffered serious injuries after being hit by a truck in Christchurch this morning.

The man, in his 30s, was struck by the vehicle at the intersection of Frankleigh and Lyttelton Streets, about 10.30am, a St John Ambulance spokesman said.

He was taken to Christchurch Hospital.
