Man seriously injured after hit and run

A man has been taken to Waitakere Hospital in a serious condition following a hit and run incident in West Auckland last night.

Inspector Kerry Watson of the northern communications centre said the incident occurred about 8.40pm when a car hit a motorcycle in Rathgar Road, Henderson.

The offending vehicle drove off without stopping down Larnoch Road, Mr Watson said.
