A man has been seriously injured after a car accident in the Hawke's Bay this evening.
The 39-year-old had driven off the road and into a tree about 6pm.
Paramedics stabilised him at the scene, before the Lowe Corporation Rescue Helicopter flew him to Hawke's Bay Regional Hospital for further treatment.
