A man aged in his 40s has been seriously injured in Christchurch tonight.
A Southern Ambulance Communications' spokesman said the man was injured after he was struck by a car at the intersection of Blenheim Rd and Foster St, in the suburb of Addington.
The man suffered serious injuries and was taken by ambulance to Christchurch Hospital following the 8.30pm incident, the spokesman said.
