A man has been sentenced to home detention on two charges relating to the fatal shooting of Adam Watkins in Lower Hutt in February.
Kyle Barnden appeared in the High Court in Wellington.
Watkins was found dead in his driveway in February this year.
He pleaded guilty to perverting the course of justice and unlawful possession of a firearm, and has been sentenced to ten months home detention.
A second man, Daryll Kirk, is charged with Watkins' murder and is back in court in August.
