A 28-year-old man has admitted the slaying of two women in the Porirua suburb of Titahi Bay.
Joseph Ogle pleaded guilty to the murders of Joeline Rangimaria Edmonds, a 21-year-old mother of two, and Jashana Maree Robinson, 16, when he appeared in a packed Porirua District Court today.
The women were found by police at Ms Edmonds' house in Morere St on June 26.
Neighbours had contacted police after a man was seen running around outside the property, covered in blood.
Ms Edmonds' children, both aged under two, were in the house during the killings.
Ogle also entered a guilty plea to one count of breaching a protection order by physically abusing Ms Edmonds.
Judge Jan Kelly remanded him for sentence in the High Court at Wellington on October 16.
