A man's family has broken down in tears as he pleaded guilty to two counts of being an accessory to murder.
Bal Krishna Naidu, 65, entered his guilty pleas in the High Court at Auckland this morning.
Family members of the south Auckland man began to cry as he stood in the dock and told Justice Geoffrey Venning he was guilty of the crimes.
He admitted knowing another man had committed murder, and helping him to avoid arrest.
The details of the murder accused and the alleged murders were suppressed by Justice Venning this morning, for the purposes of a fair trial.
