KEY POINTS:
A Waikato meat worker was flown to hospital after partially amputating his hand on a band saw this morning.
The victim was working a meat processing and packing plant at Bennydale, 35km southeast of Te Kuiti, when the accident happened about 10.15am.
He was taken to Te Kuiti Hospital by ambulance before being flown to Waikato Hospital for further treatment.
