A man on an expired visitor visa from England is wanted by police after an aggravated robbery on Auckland's North Shore.
Police said Kyle Nicholls, 31, is wanted for aggravated robbery, burglary and assault after an incident at a property in Hillcrest on March 1.
Police said Nicholls is in New Zealand on a visitor visa which expired in January, and that it is not known where he is but they believe he could be staying with associates or at a backpackers in the greater Auckland area.
People are asked to call 111 immediately if they see Nicholls, with police saying he has "shown a willingness to use violence" in a statement.
Police are also asking people to call Detective Constable Simon Robertson on 09 477 5261 with any information, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
