A 20-year-old who is thought to be drunk is missing in the bush in Northland.
The man and an 18-year-old friend went walking in Kerikeri at 10 this morning.
The 18-year-old came out at one o'clock this afternoon but the 20-year-old has not emerged.
Search and Rescue teams are now searching for him.
Police northern communications Inspector Lou Alofa says the contours in the area are steep and he is also worried about the fact a river, which is susceptible to flooding, runs through the area.
